Since joining Chi Omega, I have been in love. Largest women’s fraternity; best ranked; outstanding, consistent leadership; AND, even after 50 years, it is still the same—who wouldn’t want to be involved with such a premier organization?

While keeping so many friends close from my initiating chapter as we have moved around the country, I have made more wonderful friends and have been an advisor or house corporation board member at several chapters.

Belonging to a truly national organization has had so many benefits for me. I’ve been honored to serve Chi Omega as G.H. of Pi Beta, a chapter visitor (now known as National Leadership Consultant), and am now on the Planned Giving committee that engages Margaret Hyde Heritage Society members. It just seemed right to financially help an organization that has done so much for me over the years.

I have donated for 37 consecutive years to the Foundation. This sounds like a lot, but it is easy to do. I started donating as a newlywed and just gave $25, and then gradually started to increase the amount. It all adds up. You just have to be faithful about sending in the pledge card when it arrives in the mail. It’s never too late to start!
