Dianne Wampler Hopstetter
For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a Chi Omega. My aunt and two older cousins were Chi Omegas and I wanted to join their Sisterhood.
At the University of Evansville (Chi Epsilon), I became a Chi Omega and found the Fraternity to be much more than I imagined. As an alumna, I began giving to the Chi Omega Foundation so Sisters could have educational and leadership training opportunities.
Today, I continue to support the Chi Omega Foundation and make my contributions from my taxable IRA. Being over 70½, I can make qualified charitable contributions directly to the Chi Omega Foundation without recognizing income. Thus, I lower my income and taxes while fulfilling my desire to support Chi Omega.
