To be welcomed into Chi Omega with open arms as a freshman was something I dreamed of. To be able to grow into myself through every single aspect of this Fraternity was something I never realized was possible. I can confidently say the amount of care and effort I put into my role as a leader in Chi Omega stems from my perpetual gratitude and passion for this Fraternity, its mission, and the women a part of not only the Rho Lambda Chapter but also a part of chapters from all over the nation that I have had the pleasure of meeting!

I have grown incredibly confident and comfortable in myself as a young woman, Sister, friend, leader, and student. I constantly think back to when I received my bid as a freshman, and I am filled with joy reflecting on the journey I would soon be to take. Chi Omega has gifted me some of the most invaluable life lessons and experiences throughout my time in college, and the growth I’ve made through them is something I will forever cherish. Specifically, I had the opportunity to attend The Nancy Walton Laurie Leadership Institute of Chi Omega Flagship session which allowed me to explore steps that resulted in extensive personal growth and focus on understanding my top five CliftonStrengths. I learned how to leverage my strengths as a leader to move forward from adversity and setbacks through resilience.

My experience in Chi Omega has given me endless opportunities to recalibrate my focus as a leader, transform my mindset in resilience, and appreciate the organization so much more!
