A Sisterhood for Life

When asked what Chi Omega means to me, many things come to mind, especially that Chi Omega is forever. It is not only the friendships that you gain but the endless opportunities that this Sisterhood provides. Being a part of the Firesides Leadership Training allowed me to gain valuable leadership training and gave me and the Executive Board tools to have a successful term. Serving as G.H. is one of my proudest achievements because I get to lead an exceptional group of women that I know will be my support system for the rest of my life. I learned how to lead a large group of women and how to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment. These skills will last me a lifetime.

Currently, I am a junior studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland. I plan to graduate in the spring of 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science with a concentration in Speech Language Pathology, and a minor in Disability Studies. My future plans include going to graduate school and becoming a speech language pathologist.
